If you are OK with clicking abilities then you might not get much value out of it. Before that I used a logitech Gsomething and it actually worked pretty well but I've found that the extra buttons of the Naga are worth it.

Hey, I've played several MMOs and I use a razer Naga. Four extra thumb buttons is enough for me to play games like Diablo 3 entirely with the mouse. The flexibility, programmability, and convenience of having that many extra buttons easily accessible on one's mouse really has to be experienced for one to understand how much of a quality of life improvement it can be while playing complicated games.įor now though, my 13 button G700 is plenty. I currently use a G700 which has four additional thumb buttons for a total of 13, so it isn't as crazy of a mouse, but if I ever got back into a skill-heavy MMO again I totally would consider getting a G600 again. At a certain point I even had Shift+ Thumb Buttons mapped to skills as well. It was so much more efficient than using the keyboard since every skill that I could ever want was right under my thumb. When I was playing MMOs I had a Logitech G600, the one with 12 thumb buttons, and I had every single button mapped to a skill or a macro. The point is ease of use, comfort, and convenience. The keyboard got more than enough buttons for all your needs so i dont really see the point in learning the layout of a monster mouse.
